A woman in Indiana County, Pennsylvania said she spotted a small hominid creature crouched near a treeline on August 18, according to her account. She reported seeing a second, similar creature sitting beside the first.
The witness said the two creatures jumped and moved around as though they were playing together. She said that when she sneezed, both creatures stopped moving and turned to look directly at her.
A separate witness described a similar encounter the following day, August 19, in Westmoreland County. That witness said they saw a creature at the side of a rural road while driving past.
According to the Westmoreland County witness, the creature stood about 5 feet tall, with a dome-shaped head and dark grey hair. The witness described its movement as unnatural and almost mechanical, particularly when it turned around. That encounter reportedly lasted only a few seconds.
Discussing the sightings, the article's author raised two possible explanations: that the creatures were monkeys that had escaped from a local zoo or private collector, or that they represented a genuinely unknown species resembling Bigfoot.
